We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Glide app and website collect and how that information is used.
Information We Collect
We only collect the information that is necessary to provide the service you request. When you make purchases through Apple via the App Store, payment and transaction information required by Apple is transmitted as part of that payment flow.
Apple In App Purchases and Payment Data
All payment processing is handled via Apple In App Purchases. We do not directly process or store your payment card details; Apple handles those details securely according to Apple’s policies. We only receive the minimal payment and transaction information necessary to confirm purchases.
Analytics and Usage Data
The Glide app does not collect analytics or track usage data. We do not record or transmit information about how you use the app for analytics purposes. We intend to add this functionality with a later update, and will update this statement when that feature is ready. We also intend to add usage information, which will collect pages scanned, words per page, and genre surveys, as an opt-in part of the app.
Right to Delete
When usage information is collected, you can request your recorded data to be deleted by emailing [email protected] with the email address provided via the opt-in area of the usage information section of settings. The usage information is currently a roadmap feature.
Photos and Scanning
When you use the app to scan photos or book pages, the image data is used only temporarily in memory to perform the scanning operation. The app does not store image content on the device or transmit saved copies to our servers. Photos are not written to persistent storage by the app and exist only transiently in memory during scanning.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect any information we handle. For payment flows, please refer to Apple’s security documentation. If you have specific security concerns, contact us and we’ll do our best to address them.

No third party SDKs are used for this app.
Age-Related Information
We do not collect age related information at this time. If required to implement based on changes in law, we will collect only the information required to process the request and not store any identifiable information related to age.
